Why we built Webflow → Shopify

The traditional rebuild path wastes months. Here's what changes when you convert instead.

Every Webflow-to-Shopify quote we've seen lands somewhere between 6 and 12 weeks. The work isn't hard — it's just mechanical, repetitive, and done by hand. Liquid templates get rewritten section by section. Theme editor settings get re-discovered. CMS mappings get negotiated with the merchant. Every project re-learns the same shape.

That shape is exactly what a conversion engine should automate. Wildstack reads Webflow's published structure, maps it to Shopify 2.0 primitives — sections, settings, metaobjects — and emits clean Liquid code. What used to be 6 weeks of mechanical work is 4 days of real decisions.

The key word is clean. The output isn't a runtime or a black box. It's standard Liquid you can read, edit, and own. The merchant gets theme-editor settings on every section. The developer gets a codebase they can extend. No one depends on Wildstack to keep the store running.

If you're mid-evaluation of a Webflow-to-Shopify rebuild, the math is simple: a conversion takes less time than scoping a rebuild.
